Suspects scoping vehicles - PYNCHESTER CLOSE, Ickenham |
||
|
Reports are being received of two suspects attempting to gain entry to a vehicle in PYNCHESTER CLOSE, Ickenham at around 0200hrs this morning Thursday 29th January using electronic means ("relay theft"). Action required please:These suspects may have been active anywhere across our Ward overnight, but specifically if you live in Pynchester Close, Hoylake Crescent and roads nearby, please take a moment to check your CCTV systems and video doorbells for any movement between 0130hrs and 0230hrs this morning. It is not clear yet whether this has formally been reported to the police but in cases such as this it is useful for residents to act quickly to check for potential evidence which can then form part of any investigation. If you have CCTV evidence that shows suspicious activity in its own right then please contact the police on 101 or online (see bottom of home page at https://www.hillingdonnhw.co.uk/). If you have CCTV imagery which may be associated with the above event specifically, then you can contact your local NHW team at ickenhamnhw@gmail.com NOTE that for this specific incident you should look for suspects on foot and/or a vehicle they may have been using in and around the Copthall Estate. Please report all crimeIt is so important that every crime is reported - the idea that the police aren't interested or won't do anything is simply not the case, the resolution of any specific crime is entirely down to whether the suspects can be identified using the evidence available. Reporting crime allows the police to map areas of criminal activity, and those trends often lead to arrests through accumulation of evidence. Thank you for your support of the Metropolitan Police and Neighbourhood Watch in Hillingdon - the Borough with the highest membership of all of the 32 London Boroughs. | ||
